    We give a voice to the Rohingya people, whose very existence has been denied

    Persecuted, oppressed and pushed into hiding, the health, water, sanitation, and protection needs of Rohingya people living in the camps of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh and other countries, remain immense. 

    Yet, no progress has been made towards addressing the root cause of Rohingya suffering - statelessness. 

     

    We arrived in Bangladesh in 2017. We came here because Rohingya were being arrested and murdered in Myanmar. Our neighbourhoods were burning one after another. Bombs were thrown from planes. We observed this situation for eight days, hoping things would calm down. But things only got worse. Everyone was scared for their lives and started fleeing wherever they could.
